The winter session, a second symphony session

The 2026 winter session builds on the work initiated during the summer session by performing the same program in major French concert halls under realistically close professional conditions. The young musicians thus revisit Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloé and the Bolero, Strauss’s Also Sprach Zarathustra and Elgar’s Cello Concerto, further developping the orchestra’s harmony, the collective precision and the expressiveness of musical phrasing.

This national tour takes them to iconic venues such as the Opera de Dijon or the Théâtre de l’Archipel de Perpignan, offering an ambitious stage experience and genuine interaction with professional audiences, while strengthening the spirit of cohesion and responsibility that constitutes the DNA of the Youth French Orchestra (OFJ).
